I'm a fan of the Johnny Cash, one piece at a time, method. Seems to be easier to find deals on parts rather than complete and it spreads out the financial blow.
....then again, when a deal comes along on a complete bike, it's a grand thing, if you're agreeable to all of the parts.

I saw 55/Rad Pinarello, and started collecting parts. It took over 10 years, but it only cost pocket change.

I was born in Fla., ain't no way I'm gonna move there ever.
I did live in Flag late 80s early 90s, wouldn't mind that again, or Williams.
Def getting out of the valley soon. Might have to tough out the whole summer though.
Luckily it looks like tomorrow will be the last ****ty day for a while.

It has been a little warm lately, but I love this kind of heat. It's dry, not windy, and it's still in the 60s in the morning. I would love 365 days of this weather. July and August are rough, but i'll take that over cold winter weather.
I grew up north of Boston, but I'm done with that weathe. .

The heat has a profoundly negative effect on me, although the dry heat of the desert is much preferable to the humidity of the east coast.

Depends. My price on the Cervelo was pretty good. I don't think that I could have gotten an equivalent full build (with place-keeper wheels) for less. But being picky about things like handlebars and stem can really jump up the price on you. If you have some flexibility there, you can get things done pretty economically.
