Thank you very much! I'm lucky that my two main hobbies (bikes and photography) get along so well. I love taking pictures of the bikes on rides, but the one "drive-side shot of bike filling frame" gets stale fast. I'm always looking for novel ways of framing things, using the light and environment to keep it interesting. It doesn't hurt that the weather here forces me to stick to very-early-morning rides, when the light is always spectacular.

Here's another of the Schwinn, along the Salt River in Mesa. I was using a Soviet lens from the '60's, a Jupiter 8. I love old Russian lenses. Many of them are copies of Zeiss designs (spoils of WWII), built with cheaper materials and spotty QC in Krasnogorsk. They're still plentiful and cheap to this day, and full of character. Kind of like old Schwinns.
