I'm going to try to forget I ever saw this. (No wonder I never get any responses to my tune-up service ads anymore?)

Did you report it before you forgot? This isn't really CL's thing anymore.

Because it's in the parts section?

It would be a shame if a bike company tried to fool the American public into thinking their Asian bikes were Italian.

*cough* Centurion *cough* Novara *cough* and most Bianchi too

They wouldn’t need a mood guard to protect their mood if they didn’t add all the comfort ridding things.

That's not really the point. It's the gall of the guy to put these words in the same ad: "...in good condition" and "...aged and worn with some wear and tear and little misshapen..." What, to this seller, constitutes bad condition?

I think the ridiculous pricing for used Brooks saddles is based on all the positive comments about Brooks we post. It seems everyone now believes they are indestructible and will hold their value for ever. Often used ones are priced higher than new ones. Unless it's very cheap I tell sellers "No thanks, I can get a brand new one with a warranty for X$". Mind you, these are the same sellers who tell you a bike is "fast".

Ps I like the part about putting it in the sun.

Respectfully, I made another point. Doesn't mean I missed THE point, which was rather obvious.

Yes, as is, that is truly an ass-hatchet. Worst I've ever seen for sale that didn't say something like "maybe restorable" or at least "needs TLC"
If it wasn't missing that leather off the nose, it could conceivably have been reshaped back to ridable. Rudi shows how on his blog. The torn/missing leather though, shows that this leather is kaput and reshaping it won't bring it back. "It's dead Jim."

I guess "Titanium" is not used as a descriptive term, not any more than "Murray" would mean the bike is made out of a guy named Murray.

Meanwhile, testosterone levels in American men continue to plummet:
