A couple of additions since my previous post in this thread.

A Snel Expedition. It has some interesting quirks, and doesn't look bad for such a tall frame (65 cm). Built for loaded touring, it feels rather massive and truck-like in this guise. Currently back to bits, but definitely the frame to build back up with a full complement of racks when we decide to go on a carry-your-own trip. Which might actually be this summer, with COVID an' all.

One of my better finds was a small late seventies RIH for mrs non-fixie. I want to coax her towards the real classic racing machines, so an important step was to get her on a racing bike with drop bars. I thought this pretty little red thing could seduce her if I made it comfortable and easy to operate (hence the tall-ish stem, randonneur bars and the brifters).

It worked. Her only comment was "Not sure, I think I prefer downtube shifters". The bike has been her ride on quite a few trips since.

She loves it, only ridden it a couple of times and not that she knows the difference but she's a good sport and likes what she likes so win, win when I get it right.

It is a bit noodly when it comes down to it, no surprise and still rides just fine so....

This is her #5 and I have a 531 AD mixte to build up someday but as you could imagine, a Pmount mixte has been on my watch list for a long time regardless and this one was a smokin deal, mostly original aside from the bars, stem and shifters which are a good upgrade for her that I don't have to do.

I still have to upright the Moto GT that she has had for quite awhile and get her out on them a lot more when the better weather gets here.

That bike is very nice, looks a little bigger than the others you posted? Do you find it slightly stiffer with the over-sized tubing or not really?

This is my red bike, a Vincolo built by an NZ frame builder called Liam O'Brien. It had some damage to the seat cluster that I got fixed and just did some touch up paint on so it would pass the 10 foot look rule. I need to get another 653 sticker for the seat tube though. I love riding this bike.

I think pink bikes deserve their own month. And February is a short month too!
Anyways, my current Ironman:

My previous Lemond Tourmalet. Great bike but the frame was a tad on the small side.

Just bought this morning...

I'd had a smaller one several years ago, this one should be more to my liking.

Whatever the case, I'm happy to see all those beauties over and over!

(By the way, just fyi, on the main C&V page where each thread is listed, there is a little arrow on top of the envelope to the left of the thread title to indicate if you've commented in that thread.)

Bright red Cannondale I picked up randomly for $250. Suntour Sprint group with a Superbe Pro crank.

It's currently awaiting a new stem, because as it turns out, the Modolo stem on it is one of the "death stem" models, and close inspection revealed a hairline crack by the binding bolt, which = DO NOT RIDE
