Dusted off the Road Bike !

I spend my winter riding my trails bikes out on the groomed trails in my old neighborhood. But the last couple of days the temps have been in the upper 30's so I wanted to avoid the trails for a bit. Besides I have been getting the itch to get out on the road bike for a ride lately. So it was off for a fun wet cold ride after service today. Can't tell you how much fun it was to be back out on the road even with the clean-up time on the bike after. I know winter isn't over and it is not uncommon to get snow in April so I'll have to feed the road bike fix in when I can. I am so looking forward to logging more rides on the road bike this year than last.

I've used a mount on the seat post just under the saddle and that, is the crotch view.
Same here and I've mounted it under my bike before.

I hear ya about getting the itch to get out and ride but still early days up here in southern Ontario. I've been using a Mtn. bike or an older touring bike for a few short rides just to get fresh air but will keep the road bikes locked up for a while yet. I want to know that most of the salt and sand have been washed away before going out for a longer ride. That and to wait for the wind chills to die down a bit so I don't have to bundle up so much.

Ah well, some short rides and Zwifting for a couple more weeks at least.

Our rainy season has arrived late, so I am still riding my mountain bike, but you have inspired me to prep. a couple of the road bikes for spring and summer. As I get older I tend to prefer wider tires over the 23-25mm I rode when I was 21 and immortal.
