What is it about BikeForums that causes people to jump to the most arcane correlation-is-causation magical-thinking conclusion from nothing but a single picture or anecdote?

" Look how big that BB shell is;. They must have had to make bigger joints to the frame to keep it from breaking off.". Really??

To quote Carroll Shelby; "It's the weight savings, stupid"
LOOK made a one-piece CF crank to eliminate the metal spindle; the only way to make it strong enough was to make it bigger than a typical steel or aluminum spindle, so it needs a bespoke, bigger BB shell.
Why go to that kind of trouble? Because they're French.

Those Look frames use a 68mm BB shell. As in 68mm tall, not wide. I believe you could also get a version of that crank with a power meter.
