Love the color, from the top tube down it appeals to my "unloved toys and orphan brands" side but, from there UP ...

Crazy price for a Suntour freewheel

14-26 Winner Pro

I mean, yeah, Winner Pros are great freewheels, and the 14-16-18-20-23-26 is a great cluster for a recreational road bike... I love mine.

But $229 for one seems a mite steep...

Selling a few sweet Durace items I have. They need cleaning but work, everything is there. $350 obo

Ps for bonus points seller also has what he calls a "Campagnolo jazz/ Strong light crank" for $200 ($160USD)

To be fair the shifters don't look too bad. Crank bolts look rusted to the point of being seized

When is a Raleigh Professional not a Professional?
Um, when it's clearly not marked as a Professional...

I can't tell if it's a Record or a Record Ace but it is UK made so will be different threads and different bearings. Can't beat on the seller though. Last week he sold a Miyata 110 for $75 which is pretty fair in this day and age.

"one of a kind" Fuji S10-S

except that they made tens of thousands and you can usually find one on every city's craigslist across the country?

Does look very nice and shiny for a mere $2000...

Admittedly a nice bike-boom Fuji, I guess...

As I get older I find it less and less funny when A-holes sell bikes to the unwary that are too dangerous to ride. Hopefully prospective buyers will at least try to test ride this one. It's "in good condition" and naturally, it's "ready to go"

My bad!

I should have said prospective buyer should tell seller, "I'll buy it but first you need to ride it down a nice long and steep set of concrete stairs"

How much does a $10 sticker add to the price of a bike??

Look it says "Campagnolo" so it must be a Campagnolo bike! Google it and you'll see people pay big money for Campagnolo bikes!!!

1st seller sees the big sticker and assumes it's a Campagnolo bike and doesn't list any details (probably figures why bother?). Seller calls it a "Mountain" bike with 25in wheels so may know nothing at all about bikes

https://elpaso.craigslist.org/bik/d/...8203;Camagnolo bicycle - $900 (El Paso)

"Tires are like new located in the Northeast"

bicycle frame material: alloy

bicycle type: mountain
frame size: 54 cm medium 75
wheel size: 25 in

then asks $900!!!

2nd seller sees dropouts stamped "Campagnolo" but ignores "LUMAG" stamped seat stays.

FREE Summer and Winter Biking Gloves With the Purchase of Campagnolo Bike

Oh, and seller wants $250 for shipping for this re-paint (note: Dropout. screws were painted in place!

I emailed 2nd seller, don't care if he replies.

I'm no expert, but those seatstay caps are saying "mid-80s Raleigh USA" to me.

For a grand, the frame tubes had better be packed full of drugs. Because the seller clearly is.

One of our local flippers, White Truck Guy in Mechanicsville, simply can't spell F-U-J-I in his ads and now it's spread to a seller across town. I mentioned this when I posted about the Finest II ad a few days ago but did not realize it's a chronic problem. How much trouble is it to read a frame sticker/decal and get it right in your ad?

By the way, that's a great deal on the little 650-wheeled Ace if you know anyone who needs a tiny road bike.
