Bridgestone XO-1 Unicorn - $1,400 (Newton)

If you are reading this you probably already know what an XO-1 is.

The Bridgestone bike reputation was built on exceptional innovation. The reputation was built on bikes like the RB-1, the MB-1 and MB-0, the RB-T, the rare Grand Velo but the most innovative, the XO-1. Although, Bridgestone bikes made in Japan were all good bikes. Most bike people have heard of the XO-1 but few have seen one. When announced they said only 1,000 would be produced and they stuck to their word in spite of high demand. It was made only in 1991 and 1992.

Offered is a large 59cm, purple 1992 XO-1 in exceptional condition for a used bike. It is almost all original with a brand new cassette and chain and cables, new bar tape that matches the look of the original look as closely as possible. The paint is exception for its age. Bridgestone used the best part for every job on their best bikes. The derailleurs are bulletproof Shimano 105 and the shifters are Dura Ace bar end shifters that can be used for index or friction shifting. The headset is Shimano Ultegra, the saddle an Avocet Racing leather (a Bridgestone favorite) and the Brakes are DiaComp with Bridgestone branding on some parts. The stem is a Ritchey Force 90 degree road stem and the handlebars are Nitto Moustache bars. The crankset is a Sugino GP with then innovative 50x36 compact gearing,

The bike is a large and will fit anyone 5' 10" or over. The photos show the saddle 36" from the pedal tops.

Bridgestone's Grant Pederson said- "The XO-1 is the most versatile, most exciting bike we've ever made; under the legs of a strong rider, it can do almost anything." The bike is a great city bike that can leave the pavement behind. It is fast enough to be a solid road bike and rugged enough to be a great light tourer. It really doesn't fit in a category. The geometry, light weight Ishiwata seamless quad-butted tubing, side pull brakes, road bike shifting are all bulletproof but all light weight road bike. This was the fist production bike sold with Nitto moustache bars, a compact crankset or 26" wheels on a road bike.

The price is firm and will be sold for cash only. Please include a phone number for texts or calls in your reply

Ritchey Lite Beam Softride Frame and Fork for $125

https://stlouis.craigslist.org/bop/d...350061404.html

Ugly Delicious - $125 (O'Fallon, MO)

Ritchey Lite Beam Softride Frame/Fork set. Not sure of the frame size but guessing around 19". Just like the Netflix show this frame is "Ugly Delicious". Never got around to rebuild because shortly after I bought this unicorn 20 years ago I found out to late it was way to big of a frame for my 5' 6" height. Frame is in excellent condition with normal cosmetic wear. Easily add some older spare parts and turn some heads or resell for more money. WYSIWYG for only $125 firm.

And I do want one and especially that one because it's that cool purple and my size, but at half that price it wouldn't be worth it to me. If someone is a collector and is not going to ride it much than I would say go for it. If you want a bike that rides like an XO-1 and still have a grand in your pocket, then build your own.

If it's numbered it's probably worth his ask. I have a repro non-numbered print - paid much less of course and it suits me fine..
