I had a 1k calendar month last year. Not sure it'll happen this year. The family seems too intent on doing family stuff and my long rides are suffering.

First thing I tried. It's hydrolic brakes and I use gaffers tape on the hoses so they don't move.

Today's ride wasn't bad. And you are right it was only off by 3/16ths or so. Toaly comfortable on the bike. Except the ticking noise is still there, might be the seat.

Prolly none. If there is a little bit, it's so little that I don't notice. And my eyes are very sensitive to sweat which stings and is quite obvious.

105 miles today. 100 mile sub 5 hour. What a sweaty mess. Thank God it was flat.

It's funny, for a guy who liked to call others "Johnny Lunchpail", to see how pedestrian (I see what I did there) patentcad's bike that started this all looks by current standards.

Saturday’s ride featured some of the worst heat and humidity conditions I’ve ever experienced. I thought I was going to burst into flames during the last 5 miles, which had nearly 900’ of climbing with some double digits grades. I did the walk of shame a few times.

Took my disassembled cervelo c2 to my LBS to have him give a quick look at my bottom bracket since they didn’t feel the same on each side. He said the drive side was shot, it was dry and that is why it felt the way it did.

I tried figuring out what I needed in the past but the bottom brackets confuse me.

I found this one, just by goggling cervelo C 2 bottom bracket but I am not sure it will fit. Any help would be appreciated.

Why didn't you just get a BB at the shop while you were there?

they didn’t have one in stock. If I can’t find one I’ll have to get them to order it.

Was a major sweat fest for us too. I needed extra water and was very pleased to find this at Hibernia Park. The water was cold and delicious.

I drank about 65 Oz. in 25 miles on an unpaved trail that was a net elevation gain. Got water in White Haven for the hills. At night there was intense rain. It rained to some degree until at least midnight. Riding the hills back to the trail early this morning I could tell why the day before was so tough. The climbing on Saturday had started with about half of this.

So this is where I am confused. If you look my bike up it comes with a BBright connect 24x90.

24 is the size spindle correct?

so what does the 90 mean.

On competive cyclist I have found plenty that list the 24mm for the spindle but I have only found one 24x90 and that is getting the same one I had before which I don’t really want to do. Failing at 6,000 miles seems a little premature.

Yeah, there are advantages and disadvantages to marrying another endurance freak. So much sports laundry. My yesterday "free" time was picking her new trainer rat from the shop. But I wouldn't have it any other way. Riding together is amazing.

Sweat doesn't bother my eyes, but I really hate it when it drips on my glasses.

Longest ride since 2014 - 66.4 miles. Once again, dithered about going up Old La Honda right up till I turned onto it. It's not as shady in July as it is in September or April, especially at about 1 PM PDT, so I didn't go for a PR or anything. Ended up about 2 minutes off my best pace, which wasn't too bad, considering. I need to wait for a nice, cool day to try for a PB.

They still haven't fixed that water tap I've been depending on for 25 years, the rotten bar stewards! I ended having to add 2 miles to the ride to refill my bottles, not to mention my self, but at least there IS a working tap only about a mile away.

Now I need a nap.
