Neal has a classy bike

I've discovered an old favorite, Freaks and Geeks is available to me on streaming services now. I've enjoyed revisiting the series, and really have been surprised at how much of it I remembered. There is an particularly devastating episode where Neal is trying to find which garage door the mystery clicker opens. They boys ride around town on their bikes, and each boy has a different bike that fits their personality and lot in life. I couldn't help but spend a lot of my time wondering what the details of Neals bike are.

I think it's a Peugeot? Downtube shifters, wing nuts instead of QR skewers, a friction driven lamp and possibly a delrin rear derailleur? It looks like the front reflector bracket is there, but the reflector is gone.
