Finally some rain

This will water the place and some green grass will grow to feed the cows. Free food is better obviously I won’t have to buy hay.

Got a tube?

Drought buster for now.

We had plenty of rain in Spacetown, but very little flooding.

Not really all that big about 12 acres. Enough space to have some space. I grew up on a 700 acre ranch but once it gets divided amongst family it gets ugly. Sold out bought a small place I can manage by myself where I am not a slave to the place so to speak. Much happier now.

My back yard garden area is about 1/75 acre.

But my stomping ground the Pasayten is 532,000 acres. 🙂

Yup having large areas of public land nearby must be great for the outdoors enthusiast. Here you have to travel far to get into any substantial public lands.

Does Hondo have a Hondo Hailstone Hundred race? If not, they should.

Here. LoL not many serious bike riders. Race to slam 100 beers is more likely.

You must mean Tarpley, Texas I know spell check misspelled it on me as well. Tarpley in north of Hondo about 20 miles by road lol not how the crow flies. Just a post office basically but a popular area with cyclists and motorcycle clubs. I few days ago I was at Walmart and this lady had 4 30 packs of Keystone in her cart. I said you are going to have heck of a party. She said they drive to Hondo ever so often to stock up and beer is one of the items they put in coolers to keep everyone happy. Bandera, Texas is closer but doesn’t have the stores like HEB, Walmart and the most of all Whataburger Tarpley received their share of rain the whole area is happy.

QUICK. Dig a pond and get your boat ready. A FOOT of rain is forecast next week.
Alberta finally got some rain to stop our dry spell.
Last week I saw a pic of the Rio Grande, I think it was. Bone dry. So is California.
Lake Mead is down 16 feet from a good last year.

Moving from California to Portland, people thought I was crazy that I loved the rain so much. But I'd take rain over 85+ degree weather any day.
