New Derailleur

Hi my friend was wondering he has a 3×8 and he was wondering if he could put a clutch Derailleur on it?.

Okay thank-you will look into it for my friend i might get that 8spd deraullier and clutch.

What kind of shifters and rear derailleur (brand and model)? Not all brand/models are cross-compatible.

Why on earth would you put a clutch derailleur on a bike w/ multiple front chainrings?
