MTB holiday insurance question

Hi, new to the forum so hope this sort of thing hasn't been asked too many times already

My son (aged 18) is off on a holiday with friends in the French Alpine ski resort of Morzine in a couple of weeks. They're going to be spending a few days riding trails on the nearby lower slopes.

Obviously want to take out accident insurance and I've been recommended sportscoverdirect.com. Only thing is, they have a few different MTB categories, all at different premiums, and I'm not sure which one to get.

The relevant options are:

- Mountain Biking on cycle paths (not trails and non-competitive) - the least expensive
- Mountain Biking - Cross Country (non-competitive)
- Mountain Bike Stunting and Jumping - the most expensive. Like REALLY expensive : )

Of course I want to make sure he's properly covered, while not breaking the bank. Can anyone who's ridden these or similar trails advise me on what to go for? I honestly don't think he's going to be doing any red or black level level stuff (I hope...)
