congrats on the new wheels, hope they ride as great as they look! The bike is obviously hot, extremely so. If I had my druthers I would replace the bar tape with something else once this wears out. I’m not a fan of the little cannondale stars and don’t think they fit the lines of the bike. Dots maybe. I know the bike setup is perfect for you and I wouldn’t alter a proper fit for anything, but for photo purposes I probably would level the saddle and bring it down a cm
or two in order to even out the look of the extreme saddle to bar drop (or so it seems).

Either way, unbelievable bike, ride in good health and ride safely!

Thanks! First ride yesterday was great, and had some gusty winds to test them out, handled great with the 25mm tire up front. Thinking about trying some bar tape with a subtle fade or dots next, still keep a touch of white to tie it together.

I agree, aesthetically, I'd prefer a level saddle, but since I spend a lot of time in the drops, it's more comfortable for me with just a bit of tilt. Tough balancing form and function sometimes. lol

I like the bike overall, but if you've got to run your saddle that pointed down to alleviate pressure, you've got the wrong saddle or the wrong position on your bike. Have you tried one of those stubby saddles like a Specialized Power?

It's not really as angled as the pic suggests, the surface wasn't level since it's sitting on pine needles, it's really only barely tilted, and perfectly comfortable. I rode over 12,500 miles last year with this saddle, safe to say I've got my fit figured out.

on the saddle, I hear you 100% I’m a huge advocate for a proper fit. I was just saying that as it pertains to this thread, you could have leveled and lowered the saddle a bit and gotten the most stupendously hot this thread has ever seen!

I did use matte black vinyl to cover up all of the gaudy neon orange accents, at least!

Okay, I got rid of some more red, and all the Red. Gone are half the cables, bling on aftermarket jockey wheels and cassette, and the SRAM bar plugs. Also gone is the young man's drop... got a 8/100 on there now. Gear cable stops shaved, drilled little holes all over the place and made a custom loom with the A junction inside the stem. Now rocking full DA (except the Ultegra cassette), 9000 everywhere except for a BR-7400 and ST-R9150s. Oh yeah, SS Speedplays now bring the weight back down below what it was, now sitting on 6.28 with lights and bottle cage.



Put a hole in my brand new stem, A-junction button just under the right hood



Slick AF, just needs custom paint now

No. You might get a different opinion on Slowtwitch. The worst infraction is that your chain looks rusty. I know it's not, but it looks that way. I'm seeing a steamroller for some reason.

Gold color waxed KMC. It’s got just enough miles on it to break it in for a wax job.

I’ll post a flat bar hybrid with Renee Hearse tyres next time.
