Early 80's Myata City Runner with nice 1.75x26 wheels.

For starters this bike is not mine and for sale at a local thrift store in where I live in Fairplay CO so it's a as is where is sale. As a favor did fixed a flat and did a bit of work on the bike to make sure it works and is basically safe to ride. Found some oddities on this one it has really nice vintage Ukiai 1.75x26 rims smooth dimpled offset BMX type with nice Sanshin hubs with good original true which may not be original?, nice lugged Japanes but lesserr carbo-lite frame likely tange chro-mo fork , Sugino MP double crank with good rings and BB, early 600 none araasbegue DR's . Overall condition good but needs cleaning work service and tires sucks to see crappy MTB tires on the nice wheels. I was thinking $100-125 price cleaned up a bit considering the parts could be worth 3x that or more.. Serial number looks to be N072573 which doesn't seem to make sense.

That's a nice city/trail bike.

So much of pricing of bikes like this is location dependent, but where I am at our local co-op we'd price that at about your top end -- $125.

It is possible you'd get a bit more in a major market, and would definitely get more parting it out, but that's a hassle, especially for a non bike-specific thrift shop.

The serial number indicates weeks 30-31 of 1985. That's late enough in the calendar year to be a 1986 model, which this is, based on the decal style and the fact that 1986 was the 1st model year for the City Runner.

As is at a thrift store in its current condition, in the greater Denver area? $50. In the last two years, I've bought a couple of dozen MTBs in the greater Denver area, some from individuals, some from thrift stores. Fairplay market is much more remote, may be more valuable price wise there (less competition, no one is going to drive to Denver to get a used bike).

In Denver, above $50 they tend to have at least some of the items on this list: triple crankset, better RD, better thumb shifters, Araya dimpled wheels, metal vintage pedals, slingshot stem, etc. Araya dimpled rim wheels are more desirable in my experience.

Well here in Fairplay there really isn't anyplace to to buy a affordably priced used bike in in the area the nearest place is a not so great used store in Buena Vista 27 miles away. Almost nothing listed on CL or Facebook. Only a half dozen regular year around riders in Fairplay and near by Alma yet most bikes that work sell quick and seem to fall into a black hole and aren't seen again rich people buy them stick them in there garage or worse yard and don't use them. Probably a 50 or so nice MTB's sitting in yards neglected around town NFS and if you ask the owners think there gold and want more than FMV for stuff that is sitting in a snow bank. So while only a little over an hour away a very different market than Denver.

Those do not look like early 600s. Looks like one of the low end stamped steel units. In an area with limited supply, I could see it bringing $100 at a thrift store.Too rich for me, but to someone wanting something better than a Walmart bike, it could make sense.
