Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The horse pastures are not part of our neighborhood. I live close to "the country."

There are also longhorn cattle, horses, ostrich, and llamas on our ride routes.

Got my HR over 180 this a.m. That’s four bpm better than last season and I think it’s all about the legs being able to create more demand. Felt good!

No, I saw a cardiologist, but I was having a weird visual phenomenon, so it might have been a real estate agent or a large raccoon..

Speaking of baseball, are the pros or college teams wearing masks in the dugouts and social distancing still? At yesterday’s practice these old fools I play with acted like the pandemic is over. Not a mask in sight.

I know it’s outdoors compared to basketball where they are inside wear masks off the court, but still . . . .

Its frowned by the passengers for me to sleep in the aisle so I try not to do it. My coke can with wings doesn’t have that. Most of my flights are only about an hour, there would be a bigger issue if one was needed.

Some of the bigger planes have crew sleeping quarters, especially for international flights 777, 773, 787, A380.

Burl Ives.
As long as you didn't find it attractive, what ever it was (except perhaps a real estate agent)!

I'm your age and still find it important to maintain standards.

I'll be honest though - I'm only fooling myself.

Go on strike, demanding more nap time. Computers can fly the plane anyway. You're just there for show.
