Squawk from rear brake
I can't currently ride my Miyata (which sucks) but that doesn't stop me from paying attention to it. I noticed a squawk type of sound emanating from the rear brake, I had this bike tuned etc very recently. If it helps, the tires are a tiny bit low (need to find one of those gizmos for the tire pump.)

Try turning the brake pads around 180 degrees laterally or switching them side to side.

Strange, it wasn't doing this after being tuned/checked over, it started after being parked. It's parked indoors, in my living room btw, not out in the cold, cruel world.

OK, then don't do what I suggest.

Well, I don't have the skill/expertise to mess with the brake pads. If it's something simple like just adjusting the pads, that would be a relief, rather than something $$$. I already sank quite a bit of $ into that bike, I gotta one of these weeks take it it to LBS and see if it is possible to customize it for my size, then shell out for a new stem.
