Natchez Trace to Vicksburg Route
I am looking for some advice for a route from the Natchez Trace Parkway to Vicksburg. I am looking to take a side trip off of the Trace but the routes to Vicksburg dont look that safe when I look at them on Google. Any suggestions from first hand experiences?

I do not have first hand experience. But something I have found very useful in the past when planning tours is to contact local bike clubs and shops and ask for their advice.

Hopefully you will get feedback from those who have ridden the Trace. I plan to ride it this fall and welcome any input from those who have first hand experience. One comment I often hear is that vehicle traffic is heavy on the Trace near the larger towns during the hours of morning and afternoon work commutes.
