Top level pet trailer
There is a fundraiser triathlon I participate in annually that I’m the cyclist for the team. It’s a low-stress affair that emphasizes fun over hard competition which has me considering taking my dogs with me in a trailer.
As there is some moderate hill climbing I’d prefer to use the best rolling/ lightest trailer I can find.
suggestions ?

As you probably know, Pugs can be very susceptible to heat. I don't know what temperatures you would be riding in, or for how long, but consideration for cooling and water would be important.
I have four dogs, so trailering them just doesn't happen, so I can't give any recommendation for any particular brand. However, you should probably be looking for something with an aluminum frame and enough interior volume to allow your pups to ride comfortably.
