I will make a citizen's arrest of the OP myself if they don't get off the troll bait, shove them down in a chair like Sergeant Joe Friday, and explain exactly what the flippity pfluck happened.

Nigel: Don't touch it!
Marty: Well uh I wasn't. I was just pointing.
Nigel: Well don't point, even.
Marty: Don't even point?
Nigel: No.

Would I be correct in assuming there was a death and this bicycle is a part of the estate of the decedent? It would be a significant estate for a court to order you to do not touch for over 8 years.

Perhaps it was used in a crime, and the 'no touch' rule is a lackadaisical way of maintaining the integrity of the evidence - tho you'd think they'd leave crime scene tape up until the investigation was complete, geez.

Maybe the owner just does not want people touching it. Maybe it was personal, i.e the OP has been singled out for exclusion from touching privileges. Maybe I have too much time on my hands for thinking about this at all.

This is starting to look like the Group W bench, from Alice's Restaurant. 🤔😉

Or maybe the Rollfast is the main suspect in the alleged death? Especially if it's a haunted Rollfast. 🤔😉

That explains the disappearance of the '87 red and white Ironman that was parked, apparently abandoned, in downtown Fort Worth for a couple of years. For a year or so I watched that bike, looking for some hint that it was moved occasionally. And the day I decided to rescue the poor orphaned pound puppy, it was gone.

Somebody put the touch on it.

Our participation in this thread is pathetic evidence of having nothing better to do.

No, it's manipulation. Posting in here is like watching a train wreck. It's right in front of you and you can't pry your eyes off of it.

If you want to be productive in this thread, flag it to the mods to send it to Foo with the rest of the ****posts we keep getting around here.
