I'm curious about how this "increased engagement" was measured. I do realize that format changes are sometimes an improvement, and also that they may take some time to get used to. However, I imagine that most forum uses have a somewhat narrow focus on what they read so requiring us to filter through all of the trending stuff wastes our time and thus may inhibit engagement. Also, the most active threads, i.e. those trending, are typically the ones you'd be better off avoiding.

My 2 cents, but I'd really like to know how the data that led to the change was developed.

...however the forum owners choose to do it is fine with me. I'm only here out of a sense of loyalty to my vast army of social media followers, anyway.

One more click gets you to all of them. Not a big deal. Especially since it takes many more additional clicks to go from subforum to subforum and thread to thread.

I don't think anyone has responded to them, so they wouldn't be trending. They filter out new threads, I think

Since the new format was imposed, I am unable to upload photo attachments. Has anyone else seen this problem?

I didn't have any problems posting a picture yesterday. I don't think the update should have touched that, but I just noticed the icons at the bottom of each post changed, so maybe they did more than one update. First bike related pic I found on my computer: on edit: why does it have a threaded hole? Never seen that

...I'm guessing, but it looks like maybe a recessed brake nut that has been overpainted and is stuck in there.

It appears to be tapped on the other side too. Many crowns are undrilled, so it wouldn't be hard to do this and might be convenient for mounting lights and racks. I think I would file off that raised area.
Not fully brazing the steerer, however, is not that easy for an experienced builder like the one that made this fork. I would love to see it cut apart.

...there has always been a problem, where sometimes the image upload thing is glitchy, and I have to force it by entering the upload location code a second time, like uploading another image. Not sue if that's what you are encountering. Otherwise, seems to be working for me, as before.

No, I tried it multiple times in different message groups. No joy. I'll try it again here. No joy. I just get this message:

Upload Errors

Upload of file failed.

I'll try linking to an external image file. This is a screenshot of the error:

Browsed my device

That was easy.

Edit: Now, unterhausen's photo is scary! I've lived through a failure right there (barely). Gonna pretend I never saw it.

You should have started your own thread, IBJoel probably isn't going to come in here due to the subject. But he could surprise me.
I'll try to remember to test this later and post it in an individual thread if it doesn't work.

Looking at it again, that appears to be what it is. Except they brazed it in. Now it's a real mystery.
