You did that? Atsunta looks pretty rough. I'm going to Kasbeg and Svaneti, encounters with Tushetan sheepdogs maybe some other time.

Had a look at the Georgia pics on your site, great as usual. Man, those photos of your bike on a horse, truly epic! Is that up the Atsunta pass?

S24O over the weekend directly from our home to a location 30 miles away. Our second camping trip on our second tandem that we got this year. It's a cushy cruiser.

No, it's still unpaved. Some very rough spots. They're working on the parts that get eroded by the river or disappear in landslides in spring, I guess.

That was just warning sign of 25%, it was a bit further down the road and around some bends before it dropped off. The photos were taken on Dartmoor and Exmoor (Devon and Somerset in the UK). Dartmoor was beautiful- lots of climbing to get to the top and then rolling hills and scenery. Exmoor was mostly descend a massive 25% hill before ascending a 25% hill, rinse and repeat all day long.

Those one in four signs are something you just don't see in Canada, North America, I guess we established norms for road grades, where the terrain in some places in the UK , plus an old history of roads being there, is the reason.

Glad I have very low gearing!

Even with a 19 inch low gear, I definitely walked some of the hills in Exmoor.
