Hello from an ex London-based Frenchie now living in Romania.

I'm in my early 30s, have been cycling for years, did my first couple of triathlons this summer, didn't train intelligently, got my legs injured, and am planning over the next few seasons to buy / build:
- A single speed / fixie / track / winter season bike (there's a derelict velodrome i can use close to where i live, and everything around me is pancake flat)
- A TT bike
- A better road bike
- Deep carbon wheels (somehow i'd like to try Chinese clinchers, be it Dengfu, Yoeleo, Yishun, Farsports, or any of those "reputable" "brands")
Currently, i own a Cube Peloton race (alu) and a carbon hardtail 29er. And Tacx galaxia rollers.
If my legs let me, next year, beyond clocking happy miles, i'll aim to do various olympic triathlons, maybe a half ironman, and a few sportives. I find that it's a nice way to discover Romania and hang out with like minded people.
I'm on BikeForums primarily because right now i'm trying to figure out whether to buy a cheap vintage steel frame and make it a fixie, and slap carbon wheels on it, or buy a new track bike (Dolan type?). I'll post a thread to this effect.
Also, as i like putting science in what i do, anything on optimizing training to get more out of mileage would be nice.
And this should answer the who, the where and the why.
