What did you just buy for your bike?
I know a few other forums have a similar thread and I'm not sure if one was started here or not. However, I love seeing non-stock photos of items and really enjoy to hearing short blurbs (pros and cons) about products from real people! If this is an old topic of doesn't seem to fit the C&V go ahead and do what you must! 
My latest bike related purchases!
Blackburn Airstik SL ~$20
Definitely not C&V, but I really love the design and size. It will come in handy since I'm usually the only one with a pump on my group rides! Due to the design I can pump to 90-100 PSI without killing myself even with a bum collarbone/shoulder. Definitely a great product.
Velo Orange Croissant bag ~$55
Craftsmanship on this bag is just "ok" for me. Stitching is slightly off here and there and the bag was just covered in what looks like leftover leather bits. I had to run a sticky lent remove over it to get rid of the dust/leather bits. It's definitely a nice bag, I would still recommend it, but I prefer something with a bit more attention to detail. The canvas is thin and flimsy compared to some other (more expensive) alternatives as is the leather used for the trimming and straps. At the price point I think it still has a place, but I don't think I'll be ordering any other VO bags. I still recommend it if you're looking for a decent saddle bag for day trips as it's priced pretty fair for what you get.

The plan is to build up the Sunshine Pro Am, High flange hubs to nice clincher rims, fit the bike out with mud guards, a front bag and a largish saddle bag (will have to look into that Croissant bag), pop on the freewheel with the mega gear, and train in earnest for the 2010 rando season.

No pics, but I've recently bought a new fender strut (and hardware), Rain Cape and helmet cover from J&G CycleWear, and a rack mount for my PlanetBike Superflash. All for my Surly. And I have new grip tape on the way for my Panasonic. I'm thinking about picking up some VO Retro Cages for it too.
I'd like to get some panniers (Arkel) and a front rack too. But that's quite a bit of dough to slap down.

Not even remotely C&V: Since my wife and daughter decided to get in on the fun, I ordered a pair of Yakima Forklifts for the Outback. We've got some busy, narrow, rural roads without shoulders between home and anyplace appropriate for a new rider, so they'll be used to shuttle us to parks, trails, or more sedate rural roads.
Somewhat C&V: After going back and forth with handlebars, I finally decided to order a Nitto Albatross bar from Riv. I've wanted the moustache bar since I bought the RB-T, but decided to go with the Albatross instead. I hope I like it.
Hopefully, next week I can add an Acorn 2-strap and handlebar bag to this list.

A 70mm Nitto Technomic stem for my '85 'what-was-Trek-thinking-putting-a-55cm-top tube-on-a-21" frame" road bike. (Stock stem was 105mm; I'm running a 90mm now.)

I bought some spokes and new tires for my Raleigh Lenton Tourist and buit up a set of wheels over the weekend. The rims are 700c Weinmann concave, rear hub is a Sturmey Archer AW w/ alloy shell, front is Raleigh steel, spokes are Wheelsmith 14g, tires are Pasela Tourguard 32mm. These wheels replaced some dark anodized ones with 28mm tires. They're not period correct, but I like the look.

Not even remotely C&V...but it replaces the 1978 Austro Daimler that was destroyed: I ordered everything except the frame and the brakesets needed for my Motobecane Fantom Cross Uno. I mean everything, including a hand built wheelset. Perhaps the brakesets will qualify as C&V...they're a pair of NOS Onza H.O. cantilever brakes. huh? How 'bout it? The frame I already received.

Profile Hammer threadless stem to raise the bars up a little on my non-C&V (but still steel) cross bike. Order will be placed tomorrow for a Regal Ti in white and some Salsa bars for I don't know what bike exactly yet.

No picture but 100mm SR stem for use with the coppertone 531 cycle, they made me buy the entire crappy low end Sekine it was attatched too as well, $5.

I didn't "buy" but "made" from stuff on-hand:
a pair of hub polishers for the now-rusty steel center barrels of Phil Wood hubs on my Holdsworth Touring.
Just some pieces of an old brown leather belt, punched 2 holes and bolted up with stainless bolt, washers, nut (no sense in allowing anything ELSE to rust!). and an OK match with the Ideale model 90 saddle.
I'll take some pics in a day or so...a very easy DIY project.
PS to the DL: I LIKE those Onza cantis (but not for the Holdsworth) got any more?

No pics yet. I got a Cetma 4 rail rack for my Gitane Townie de Luxe. It's installed but I need to paint it, just couldn't wait, and I had to put a steel rimmed wheel up front because it needs a wheel with axle nuts instead of quick release, hopefully I can find an aluminum rim that's suitable at the bike kitchen tmrw.

I got one of those little screws with the hole drilled in it that you put your cable through to shift your derailleur thingy. $.49 at the LBS. (Sorry, no pics. Use your imagination.) This Varsity is breaking me; I've got almost $23 into already!

Nitto Technomic Deluxe stem & shims for the Super Le Tour from Rivendell. Also for the SLT: Vittoria Zaffiro 27x1-1/8 tires & tubes for the original wheels, and new cones for the original front wheel (the original wheelset with the 14-28 6 speed freewheel will be spares and/or for longer and/or hilly rides). Brake cables, housings, and Koolstop pads for the fixed gear - putting the rear brake back on. Vredstein Recorso tires on sale for the OCR 2. Dork disk and new cheap SRAM grip shifters & cables for the Rockhopper 24 youth MTB I'm rehabbing for the kid next door.
