I know what you're thinking, but this ad seems to be legitimate as the other pictures just show a bunch of similar, garbage bicycles.

Either this guy--I'm assuming--is a good photographer or cell phone cameras have really improved over the years!

Actually, this old Sunbeam is pretty cool.

A 64cm Univega? I doubt it.

This is listed as a 64cm. The angle that they're taken at doesn't help, but I don't believe this person knows how to measure a frame. That steer tube should be noticeably longer.

It does have a Stronglight crank and Mafac calipers. Perhaps if the price dropped. And yea, the seller thinks the frame can be fixed!

With those short, chromed chainstays and Stronglight square taper cranks? I think it was something better than a UO-8, but I'm not an expert.

Wow. Brings back memories of the final stage of the '89 Tour when Greg used that style bar to beat Fignon.

Poor frame, but hope those Stronglights are OK... (they were remarkably strong cranks)

The only reason I’m posting this here is because of the price, well the bars qualify too. IMHO $700 for this is crazy, and even the $550 he claims the frame is worth might be a tad high for the whole bike. Along with new bars it needs a good overhaul and tires.

From the seller:
“ “This is a 1986 Bianchi Squadra, steel frame, however it is a columbus tubing frame. Campagnolo Record hubs with Mavic G-40 rims, Italian Suqadra brakes, Campagnolo derailleurs. Shimano 600 shifters. I will replaced the saddle that it had on it.

This is valued at more than what I am asking, so please do not become a rude person. The frame alone is at least 550.00 in the excellent condition in which this one is. This is Columbus frame tubing.” “

I would flip the bars for a more AERO riding position.
