1984 Lotus Sprint track bike

PENDING

$300.00 + Actual shipping via bike flights

$225.00 local pickup in northeast ohio

This is a rare Lotus built fixed gear, drilled for brakes from the factory. Condition is very good, with some chips here and there. This bike was completely restored and rebuilt by me.

Bike appears to be all original, except for the added brakes which are vintage appropriate.

- Seat tube: 22.5" (57.5cm C-C)
- Top Tube 22" (56cm C-C)
- Flip flop rear hub for fixed and single speed freewheel
- Sealed bearing hubs
- Ukai 700c wheels
- DiaCompe CXII brakes
- MKS GR-10 pedals
- 46t front chain ring (Aerox cranks)
- 15t rear fixed cog

I really like this bike. I have not had a fixed/ss since I was young, like a stingray. It looks like a perfect first one for someone, or someone that wants one just to take for a spin now and them. If it were my size, I think I would be giving it a shot. I can do the top tube, but the seat tube is way long for me.

Sweet deal for the right person.

I'd be all over this if it were a 60 or 61.

My initial thought was to wipe that up..: but then in figured it was great evidence that it had been serviced.

You really did a beautiful job of restoring-rebuilding.

Thank you. I assumed this would be a keeper… but I’ve got 14 at this point. I once had 10 as my limit.

I am NOT going to show you my garage...eek. Nice and near.

Looks like you’ll have space for another.

I wonder if they had to legally equip it with brakes in order to market it as a bike for the road/street.

I was under the assumption that the brakes were an add on from the LBS.

Ah, I guess I was thinking about the drilling for the brakes, not the actual components.
