Wahoo App bike fit wizard not working

Before my new Wahoo bike gets here I thought I’d go through the fit wizard in the Wahoo app.
I tried using the option of taking a photo of my bike then dropping the required target points on my bike, but it simply doesn’t work.

Saddle height: 0
Setback: 0
Reach: 0
Stack: 0

I contacted Wahoo, they suggested photographing my bike in better lighting, which I did with the same results.

Has anyone else encounter this and got it to work somehow?

I thought I'd update this post. I took my bike outside again under overcast skys and this time it worked. I guess lighting does indeed have alot to do with it, at least for me it did.

Be careful because I found the results of the App pretty inaccurate compared to a full measure up of my bike. Consider the fit wizard a rough starting point at best.

Thanks for the heads up, I did notice it was off a bit but not too bad. I have it dialed in pretty close now.

No worries. I love my Kickr Bike. I've had it for a year now and no regrets. Initially I had a problem with the shifters intermittently failing (quite widely reported issue at the time), but Wahoo sent me a new bar assembly and it has been faultless since. I also found the quick setup adjustment very useful in fine tuning my road bike fit.
