Pro-Form 5.0 ES

Experiencing problem with Pro-Form 5.0 ES exercise bike. Pedals slip even though belt tension was tightened per user manual. It appears that the pedal shaft slips away from whatever creates the resistance. Is there a fix for this? Nothing mentioned in user manual. Is the resistance motor causing the problem?

It's probably your belt. Is the bike relatively new? You might just have to replace the belt. If it's fairly new, I would ask the company

Resistance

I don't think it's the belt because I don't witness any belt slippage. The pedals shaft becomes disengaged from resistance.
