I received a crankset from Andy Antipas today, great deal, perfectly packaged and unbelievably fast shipment. If any of you between Colorado and Massachusetts heard a sonic boom yesterday, it would have been this. Thanks Andy!

Thanks to Catnap for an all around good, easy and fast deal on some small components. Knows his stuff and took great care on a sub $20 transaction, kinda makes me wish I had more to spend

thank you for all the kind words, everyone. I've gotten a ton of orders and just about sold my whole collection, so I've been working hard to make sure everyone gets their items in a timely manner.

Another shout-out to Catnap for a smooth-as-silk transaction. I got some Campy 10sp Ergos and he even threw in a right-hand spring. Buy with confidence, folks.

I've bought and sold a bunch of stuff here and have had nothing but positive experiences - until now!
I posted an ad saying WTB: Moustache bar with 25.4mm clamp. stevel610 said he had one and was local. We met up about 10 minutes from my house at a place he suggested, did the exchange. However, when I got home I noticed it was a 26mm clamp. I didn't think to check in person because the ad was so straightforward and I generally trust people on this forum (and I didn't have my reading glasses so it would've been a blur anyway). He's been nothing but difficult about taking it back, won't meet at the same place we first met at, insisting I drive out 40 minutes to meet him at a school. I even agreed to go very close to where he is, but was going to be on bike so wanted to meet at a place near the trail. Nope. He stopped responding.
Not the end of the world, I can resell, probably lose a few bucks. But I wouldn't recommend doing business with this guy. If I made a mistake like that I'd own up to it.

Huge belated thanks to three fantastic members who each facilitated an off-topic deal on some nice trumpets. There is nothing like this C&V community in the brass instrument world. (Or maybe it's because one-size fits all when it comes to trumpets?) I very much appreciate the assistance, and am enjoybg the heck out of playing them (between bike rides).
Here they are after some cleaning and servicing:
1949 Olds Special - thanks @Bianchigirll:
1937 Olds - thanks @Velo Mule:
And a 1956 Martin Committee - thanks @RustyJames:

clubman and I had a different experience trying to send money across the US / Canadian border. I wound up sending cash as it was far easier than any other method, but it was a two week endeavor. Wacky stuff from the USPS! Smiles, MH
