Misc parts: Campy 50th post, Cinelli stem and bars, 1" carbon fork...
FRAMESET AND GROUP SOLD SOME OTHER STUFF REMAINS...
Top tube: 53.5 c-c (perhaps a hair shorter)
Seat tube: 53.5 c-c.
Columbus SL frame, built in Italy by Cinelli. Most likely one of the early “project” frames that eventually (after a few small changes) became the Centurion Cinelli Equipe model. Very nicely thinned lugs / clean brazing. Fork is 100% Cinelli SC.
I had the frame repainted by a forum member who has done a number of other frames. It is not quite professional quality, but much better than amateur with a rattle can. He used duplicolor automotive primer, Hugger Orange paint and lots of clear. I will include a container of touch up paint. Decals are probably an abomination to the purists out there...sorry.
Has not been ridden since the repaint.
$300 frame/fork/King headset (paypal and shipping to lower 48 included)
+ $125 for the Super Record 50th Anniversary seatpost (some scratches and insertion marks but would clean up nicely)
+ $85 for the Brooks Professional (only has a few rides on it and hasn't been broken in)
+ $40 for the Cinelli 66-40 Campione del mondo handlebars and 110 mm stem (polished along with the group). Stem is missing the bolt.
+ $125 for a very nice shape Reynolds Ouzo Pro full carbon 1" fork - 43 rake, 19cm steerer.
+ $200 for the wheels: Campy silver 9s hubs (I think I was told Athena) laced to 32h Campy Sydney 2000 rims, Campy 9s cassette, mismatched mediocre tires. These will fit 9/10/11 speed campy cassettes.
+ $400 for the group (details below)
$900 as pictured (no cables, housing, bar tape, pedals).
Frame currently has a black 1" King headset with a non-correct threaded top cap on there to convert it to threaded...not "proper" but works fine. I suggest getting the proper King part though if you want to keep it threaded... Will include the threadless 1" top cap that actually goes with the headset. I have a Chorus (I think) threaded headset I can include for an extra $20.
Groupset
It had a lot of use/abuse in a previous life, but was completely stripped, rehabbed, polished, lubed and reassembled for this build that I never finished, but has never been ridden since. It's gorgeous, but not perfect. Work was done by forum member Thirdgenbird. See this thread about the process on another forum: Making chorus 9spd pretty again - The Paceline Forum
Chorus 9s Ergos
Chorus 9s RD
Record 9/10 FD
Chorus Brakes
Chorus Cranks. 175mm with nice TA 53/39 rings.
Chorus (maybe Record? BB) I think I have both Italian and English 102mm available.
Campy downtube mount cable stops/adjusters
Top tube: 53.5 c-c (perhaps a hair shorter)
Seat tube: 53.5 c-c.

Sure thing. What is the width of the handlebars? Are they Giro D'Italia or Campione del Mondo?

66-40 = 40cm c-c at the base of the drops.
66-42 = 42cm c-c at the base of the drops.
and so on.
"66" is the style of the drop.
66=Campione del Mondo
64=Giro D'Italia
65=Competizione, I think, something...
64 and 66 are not that different, 65 is the track drop
Few people know just how good that frameset is.

Thanks Robbie.
Final bump on this and final price drop. Knocked $50 off the frame set and $100 off the package. If it doesn't sell, I will likely finish the build and ride once then put back into the basement...

Apparently I can't pm until I have 50 posts. Can you pm me with your e-mail address? I'm new enough to the forum that I'm having some trouble navigating just yet. Thanks, Ian

As I told 4Ring6Stars, I'm going to have to withdraw from the Anti-Brifter Club. Taking the plunge into modernity.

Actually, I think this group is is going on my Look KG86. The Merlin is getting a DA 7400 group, which I'm planning to switch over from my ParkPre (haven't ridden it at all this year). Hope to have both the Merlin and Look on the road before the end of summer.
