And after simmering all winter it's on the road:
With about 50 miles on it so far I can confirm it's just as sweet a ride as my last SC and MUCH better looking.

Yeah, Bob, we collaborated on that one: 13-24 Regina compact spaced 6 block built on a CX body with BX and CX cogs......and a single Shimano we just dont talk about
.
Even with the compact spacing I have to run the axle all the way forward in the dropout for the chain to clear the seat stay on the 13t.

I recently got rid of the long-cage converted Campagnolo Nuevo Record RD on Sporty, my all-Campagnolo, Schwinn Super Sport. It didn't need the low gears here on the GA Coast and I was sick of the poor, coffee-grinding, shifting. I went to a 14-24 ultra-6-speed Suntour Perfect and the Schwinn Approved (Shimano) Le Tour short cage RD. And I'm very happy.
