It is a 're-purposed' greenhouse.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but what kind of bike doyou ride? Around here, the bike cops all ride mountain bikes. I guess that is so they can go where cars can't? But mostly, I see them in the downtown areas. Wouldn't a cyclocross bike be better? Faster on the street and anything else but a single track?

ps: I WILL get back to you re the other thread soon.

My current parking spot is by the front door against the wall, this spot is under cover of the entrance potico; previously I parked at the side door with the all natural bike rack. No need to lock up at work; installation is fenced, entry is guarded. I am the only commuting bicyclist among approx. 800 employees.

From 1997 to 2002 I frequently used the parking facilities at the Heidelberg Train Station. My bike is in the foreground of the photo in front of the station.

Cool- It would be a nice change to wade through that many bikes to find yours!

Too bad no one can see you when approaching with so few lights on your bike
