FLSRA ROAD & TRAIL MANAGEMENT PLAN IS HAPPENING AGAIN
In case you weren't aware, after FLSRA bulldozed the Granite Bay jumps and the Browns Ravine jumps, and FATRAC lead the "Build, Don't Bulldoze" protest ride, FLSRA informed FATRAC that they hired a consulting firm to re-start and finish the looooooooooong delayed Road & Trail Managment Plan (RTMP)... which will address the trail access issues this old thread discussed.
1. Please provide your input in the survey before 2/1/22... but take it now so you know what is being considered and discussed in the 10/26/21 virtual meeting:
ArcGIS Survey123 - Lots of specific questions about mt. biking.
2. Register, tune in to, and participate in the virtual meeting FLSRA is having on 10/26/21 (tomorrow evening) between 6pm and 7:30pm!
https://www.eventbrite.com/e/folsom-...s-178903193267-This is a very good opportunity to express what you want to see happen in FLSRA with regard to MTB'ing. You know the haters will be all over it, with their unsubstantiated fear mongering.
3. See the FLSRA website for more info/details/history of the RTMP: [/url]https://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=28192- There is some sort of "trail use challenge" promoted on that page... I can't seem to make the link work on my phone. Maybe someone else can fill us in. But MTB'ers need to participate a lot!
---------------------------------
Get your riding crew involved with this too. It is supposed to take 18 months. We can't give up requesting better LEGAL mountain biking experiences at Folsom Lake. I put this comment here to get those who've posted on this thread involved.

Too late for the meeting, but please take the survey. We壇 really like to get Brown痴 Ravine and the west side of Lake Natoma bike-legal, these guys have been asking for over twenty years and they池e long since de facto bike trails
