Say hello to my 1972 Presto, build by Jan Legrand

Yes, it took a while.

Refinished frame, in 2008, by Leen Vrolijk, lettering by Leen as well, most decals are reproductions by Michael Swantak (RIP). In early 2011 I moved to Thailand, and build the frame up there, I had all the parts already.

A month ago I rode it for the first time, on non-glued somewhat sketchy tubulars. It was a wonderful ride, a perfect fit for me. Like, when can I start in a criterium race with this bike?
Which just goes to show how good Jan Legrand was as a framebuilder.

Pictures attached ...

I thought so, too bad they don’t make those anymore. They were a great little touch of complimentary or contrasting color.

The young Lad looks so happy.
needs to grow into it though.

well done.
I missed the loss of Mr Swantik.
he did some graphics for me, well done I might add. I caught him when he was very productive and fast turnaround.

Nice! I've got the exact same bike, but with original paint that is in atrocious state by now. Great bikes.
