$20 Legnano...
I am a Legnano fan and my only for sure keeper is my long owned 1968 Gran Premio...
However, today I scored Legnano GP #3 and for the price of a CND six pack...
It should buff up nicely!-(
Not really. I bought it for the brakes, head badge, bars and seat post bolt. That little harvest, to me, is worth twenty bucks and then some...
There appears to be something pantographed into the bars. Anxious to see more when I get to disassembly...
However, today I scored Legnano GP #3 and for the price of a CND six pack...

Those look like early T.T.T. (Tecno Tubo Torino) handlebars, before they officially became 3TTT.

Thank you, Tom. That adds a wee bit more value to my twenty dollar purchase. I am looking forward to removing the head badge. I can't help but wonder if it can be cleaned up with a positive result.

the 3TTT Tourist stem & bar set brings it into the mid-1960's
if it were fifties or very early sixties it would have been fitted with Ambrosio
since both round things are replacements there will be no useful date there
serial can be checked at Mark's site
if you do a part out the Bates style fork may have some value

Taking a closer look, this looks lower than a Gran Premio. It has stamped dropouts while the Gran Premio typically had Campagnolo forged dropouts at the rear. I believe this may be a Mezza Corsa.

Bud Light, ,my choice, $16 plus tax and my favorite, Rickards $18.50. So, no, not twenty but close enough when I pay for gasoline ($2.12 per liter or $6.50 per gallon) to make the thirty mile round trip to buy my Buds.

I'm restoring a mid 60's Legnano Gran Primo to Italian city bike configuration, and live in Vancouver BC. I'd be interested in the wheels if they are original - PM me if you want to sell/trade. Good catch BTW, especially for the price of 6 Sleemans.

Didn't notice that, but very well could be. I would imagine this is mostly going to be a donor bike for Randy for the next bike his Legnano-magnet finds at the junk yard or laying against a fence, or in a snow drift.

Anyway, the Legnano Bendino is leaning against the wood pile, in my back yard. Will have a closer look at it tomorrow after my round of splitting and piling firewood. Looking forward to harvesting the good stuff and then the damaged frame/fork is dump bound.
