Today my daily musings were rudely interrupted by a lot of noise from the backyard. A neighborhood cat had decided on a visit, and the resident magpies weren't having it. No sir!

It is. When the shed died a few years ago, we didn't see an immediate need to replace it, as its only purpose seemed to be to collect all sorts of stuff, like bikes and such.

Trying outside for the first time. He loves to sit at the window and look, but this was a bit overwhelming.

New Box Day 2!

Amazon Man came by and dropped off a new box. Slightly bigger than the previous one, which the two gentlemen had ruined in a few days. But size doesn't matter: a box in that spot is Fritz' box:

Aw heck, see plenty o' room here for Dona Drinka!

No reason she should not partake in these love fests...

Maybe we could start a pool for betting on the day all four sidewalls collapse.

New acquisition as of yesterday. My wife could not resist. Most loving kitten we have experienced. 4 months old.

These 2 - Elliot and Simon, are 11 weeks old and will only for a short time be able to share a lap. They are 2 of the happiest and sweetest cats on the planet. They moved from a small Brooklyn apartment to a big 2 story house with a full basement as well as a screened in porch. They get along reasonably OK with the 19 year old female whose lived here and been Queen of the house all the years. What more could they want ?

Jeff Wills DonkeyShow - We hope so! Main Coons get to 20lbs +. Females' are a bit smaller by 7 lbs or so. She is polydactyl on both the front and rear paws (additional toes)
My wife describes her as fearlessly affectionate.
Long tail too.
PXL_20210819_215607403 on Flickr

She can receive signals from deep space galaxzies!
PXL_20210820_175634811 on Flickr

She looks you straight in the eyes, even while approaching for a snuggle.
PXL_20210820_175718744 on Flickr

Unlike most cats, they grow for 3 years before getting to be full size. This is 4 months so there is a lot to go. Skinny now too but that will likely change.

Import from the Ukraine so will need to teach her english.
