Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Nordic Tugs are so cool. There was a trawler at our marina that I always had to look at admiringly. Not sure the make though.

I tried watching it for a bit but it felt anticlimactic, so I took a wee nap.

Update: just ordered subs, which will be consumed during the Huskies game

Yeah, I realize that could be something different in Minnesota.

BTW the Z (Zulu) flag means “I need a tug.” Could come in handy some day.

We occasionally get urge for a small, cute, cold weather cruising platform, but it passes quickly when we look at the price tag.

See a lot of that type of thing in Seattle. I imagine it would be ideal in Puget Sound.

Plenty of schools were founded in the territorial days.

ASU for instance. I dunno how the Sun Devils are doing - probably won't be attending any games either

Tuesday I have my 3 month follow up with the neurosurgeon. This could go on for another year. I'm going to cave and ask about gabapentin. I don't think I can tolerate another year in the current state.
sad.
