Can't figure out thru-axle adapter for trainer

Hello,

The axle goes thru the adapter and trainer just fine on their own, but the adapter won't screw on the trainer with the axle. It's stops screwing in.

Here's a 45 second video of my issue.

Any suggestions or experience with this?

Thanks a lot

I don't have a Cycleops but on my KIKR, you mount the bike onto the trainer (like you're installing a wheel) and then thread your thru axle on. You may need adapters and the Hammer probably included them.

Go to about the 8min mark.

I'm trying to figure out why it would stop the skewer. It seems like it might be misaligned, and threading it in makes it more misaligned
Can you see the end of the skewer from the drive side?

Make sure your chain is on the smallest cog before mounting to the trainer. With my thru-axel bike mounting it was impossible unless in the smallest cog. Almost impossible with my skewer bike too. Pictures would help.

There is a video link in my post. He's having a problem with it with no bike on there at all.
I feel like he may have gotten it given the lack of a response
