Anyone want Blackburn rear rack adaptors for eyelet-less dropouts?
I have a set of these, new in the bag, but I'm keeping 'em.
HOWEVER, they look easy enough to make, so I did - gave a pair to the nice mechanic at the LBS. (I sourced some hard rubber washers and stainless button head 5mm screws.)
Is there any call for these? If there is I'll set up the lathe again and make a bunch of sets and list them in the sales sub-forum.

i have used these before and they are a great solution, better than what I cobbled together from plumbing parts at ACE
I would be interested, even though I have no immediate need (typical just in case parts )

These are great adapters, here there's a rack, mudguard stays and pannier hook attached.

The bolt that attaches a cheap derailleur to the stamped dropout on a low end bike threads into a strangely shaped nut on the inner side of the dropout. Those strangely shaped nuts are useful for exactly this purpose.

I'm reminded that I have a set of those in the bin, takeoffs from something I flipped a while back. I hadn't seen them before and can see they are a nice solution to the problem of no dropout eyelets.

They are almost exactly the same size, measuring the largest and smallest diameters, but the nice thing about the real ones is the curved shoulder, which fit the curved ribs of forged dropouts better - they self-centre when you mount them. The stepped shoulder of the claw-fixing-nut lets it tilt and wobble about unless it's on a stamped dropout.

I just use a pair of plastic-coated P-clamps, taking advantage of the chain hanging peg to prevent slippage.
