I rode over the Tacoma Narrows Bridge on Tuesday. Beautiful weather, great ride. Took this on my way westbound:


On my way back across eastbound I was thinking how cool it would be to see whales, then I saw someone standing with a nice telephoto lens looking into the distance. I asked if there were whales and she pointed out a pod of four orcas. I stopped for long enough to have completely cooled down but the view was well worth it.

that's a narrow road, with a blind curve, just after, going in one direction. had to come to a complete stop, in my car, one day, because 2 ladies with baby strollers, were in the road chatting beautiful photo
