Shimano Steps and the E-Tube App - Torque
I finally got my Shimano Steps EP8 to communicate with the E-Tube app so that I can dial-in various settings to my liking. Unfortunately, I don't have a manual for the system so I need the answer to a basic question:
The system has 3 assist levels - ECO, TRAIL and BOOST. The E-Tube App allows every one of these levels to be set to as high as 85nm (torque). If I set all three to the max torque of 85nm will all 3 levels feel exactly the same? Or is that value of 85nm actually a "relative" value for each power level? IOW, will there still be a different "feel" between the 3 assist levels or will they all feel exactly the same?
(I hope that i worded this clearly).
Thanks!
Bert

There are 3 parameters in the E-tube app: assist level (multiplicator the rider's input), torque (self explanatory), sensitivity (how fast the assistance kicks-in). Each mode is a combination of the 3 parameters, so only changing torque won't lead to modes that feel similar.
