Schwinn 1986 Tempo
Picked this up a few weeks back and just finished it up. I was drawn to it by the white pearl color with gray paint scheme.Kinda different. Columbus Tenax, Shimano Light Action, nothing high end but nice. Seems like 86's find me also. This one original except for the near obligatory rear wheel change. In doing some quick research before buying these seem to be well liked. After the Paramounts the line-up was Peloton, Super Sport then the Tempo. Anybody have a copy of the 86 price list?

That sure is a beautiful bike. The white would have grabbed me as well.

Beautiful bikes! Love looking at the upper tier Schwinns.
The only one I've ever found in my area was a way to big Super Sport for me to even think about riding, although it did end up with a member here.
Daydream often of finding an 86 Super Sport frame set in my size to build.

I've never seen a White Tempo. Yours is really nice. I had a white/red/green one and thought it was very fast with the 105 group. If I ever get another good shot at a Peloton, I'm a gonna take it.

I cannot for the life of me figure out what is going on in this photo. It’s surely one of the most beautiful photographs I’ve seen of a bike, but is it a mural? Real life? Touched up in Photoshop?
Agh! The beauty!
