Rolling a Bike Friday Folded?

Hey folks,

I just scored a great deal on a used Bike Friday Pocket Expedition (pretty much the Llama, right?) 2009 model (so the seatpost and stem come out, versus fold down.

I had two questions for the folding crowd:

1) Is there an easy way to roll a BF once it is folded? They seem slightly off parallel but I've only played with it a little bit so far.

2) Is it possible to upgrade stem and/or seatpost to foldable? Meaning instead of pulling out after releasing the QR that it just folds down and stays attached to the bike? (just wondering for transit riding purposes)

3) That actually brings up a third question, does anyone have any neat hacks for attaching the seatpost and stem to the bike for a quick fold for transit?

Thanks in advance, after years of riding tons of other different bikes I'm excited to try on the folder world,

1) No. 'Pocket' Fridays are not designed for that - only the tikit is.

2) Stem can be converted to 'folding', seat post cannot. FYI, folding stem widens the folded pkg a bit.

3) Stem can be 'bungeed' to the folded bike. I haven't found a way to attach the 'Easy Pack' seat post to the folded bike.

The 'Pocket' bikes are not designed for a quick fold, or 'transit' situations. The Bike Friday tikit is.

What Lou said. We managed to shoehorn two folded Fridays into the trunk of a rental car this week, but it was a very large rental car. They are an awkward fold - the handlebars jut out all over the place.

Luggage went on the rear seats, and Friday cases went to a friend for storage for the week.

Yea Tikit rolls on it's front wheel , there is a handle, functionally, in the rear section when it's folded down.

My Pocket Companion rolls quite well on two wheels when folded. I fail to see the problem

I rent an SUV when flying and take along a bike rack I made.

Ford Explorer Rental ...

At home the BF's live in the FJ Cruiser while the "big bikes" travel outside.
