pretty bike genejockey. although left hand front brake just looks wrong to me.
Granted, both of those are fixed gears running old single-pivot calipers with old pads so it's not like grabbing the lever does much anyways

Yet more rain on my day off.
I was really hoping to get in at least a metric today, but I'll be lucky if the skies part for an hour.
And no, I'm not going to just HTFU - 40° and rain is just about the most miserable riding weather that I can think of.
Maybe I'll do a little prep and maintenance ahead of my trip - freshly wax the chains, make sure that I have my caliper spacers and brifter locks together, etc.

It's going to start raining here soon. I missed my ride window this morning because I stayed up too late last night and needed to be out the door by 5:30 in order to get home in time for the personal trainer. I had an easy 20 on the MUP planned. It's going to be nice tomorrow, so I guess there's that. Friday looks like a washout, Saturday looks too windy and Sunday is another rainy day. I feel like doing Zwift like a hole in the head, but may have to just deal with it.

Apparently, you can put the new pedal bodies on Vector 3 pedals. This makes this far more interesting, although changing pedal bodies every time I want to switch from the R3 to the Revolt sounds like an incredible ass pain.

Pouring here, so fake miles pour moi.
Daughter is in Iceland defending her PhD thesis to a committee in Ireland as we speak, having already started as a post-doc in California.
BTW, the local fast men have picked started using "fake miles" on Strava. Not so much the others. Says something.

Stupid windy again here. I like to ride my mtb up the mountain on Wednesdays but NOAA says 50 mph gusts up there this morning. Gotta do something.
re: Pioneer Chicken, there were some around here in the 70s. You could get livers, hearts, and gizzards there. A bucket of gizzards, no kidding.

Sometimes when I check my profile page for post quotes I see "deleted posts" and nothing explaining it. Are these post of mine which were deleted or someone else replying to me and then deleted?
