Bianchigirll just wanted to make sure you saw that question. And get your thoughts.

Im not sure about the dropouts, it could be they were both chromed and it’s only mentioned in the Superleggera

The 2 Reparto Corse Columbus frames I had were English, but maybe that was because they were sourced from Bianchi USA. Would help to measure it.

Thank you. A guy on another forum gas an 89 Giro and confirmed his arent chromed. He also indicated in 88 the Bianchi logo above seat stays is panto but on 89 a sticker. I have a sticker so now I'm pretty sure it's an 89 Superleggera. Thank you for all your help, I really appreciate it.

I have a 90s Bianchi Sbx reparto corse as well and it's English, I think this one is Italian though.

Loved that SBX frame. Unfortunately snapped at the DS plug-in.

Based on the serial number, the frame was manufactured late enough in 1989 that it should be a 1990 model. I know that BG has always considered the 1990 Mondiale, Super Leggera and Giro to be leftover 1989 models but here's our first piece of evidence to indicate that they may actually be 1990 models. The frames all appear to be identical for all three models, so the difference comes down to components. Given the component mismatch, there's a fair probability that it started out as a Mondiale, which was offered as a frameset.
