They will still do bugs as separate updates.

That is a good omen.

I hope they don't decide to start charging for their new feature updates... everything seems to be going to a subscription model.

Mine was 57.

DCRainmaker says they're changing how they calculate that score, adding weight to restlessness. I've always been skeptical of activity trackers' ability to say much about sleep, but I trust them to get movement right so I feel it's a good change. I think the REM etc stuff isn't very well grounded in reality.

I was awake for at least half of what is labeled REM sleep. I would say last night was average. I've had far worse, and occasionally, better sleep.

What I hate is lying awake all night worrying about various end-of-the-world scenarios and whether 6-bolt brake rotors are inherently inferior to center lock, and then Mr. Garmin congratulates me with gas-lighter smugness on my excellent night of sleep.

I wish they'd get rid of update nags. 3x every ride I have to tell my 830, "no I don't want to update to a new firmware that will break features I use on a daily basis". Reverting firmware is enough of a hassle I can't even be bothered to install new versions just to see if they fix what the previous version broke.

This thread is about feature updates for the watches and bike computers millions of cyclists use. I'm sorry you're having a problem with yours, you should try to get it resolved, spamming us won't do that.

sorry I deleted the post that this refers to, but I agree with this post. We don't usually require things to be on-topic in a thread, but spamming the same picture across multiple threads isn't really something we would like to encourage.
If you have a problem with garmin, start your own thread. Call garmin support, they are one of the better things about the company.
