Thru Axle Question
I have ordered a Lynskey GR300 that I will be building up. I have never dealt with a thru axle at all. Here's what Lynskey specs. "Requires 12 x 142 x 1.0 Thread Pitch Thru Axle With An Overall Length Of 166mm."
Maybe my google foo is weak, but I am coming up empty when I copy and paste that trying to find one. Is this an uncommon size? Can anything be substituted? Are there any QR conversions?

Are you sure the frame doesn't come with the thru axles? Check RAP if you do need them. https://robertaxleproject.com/

Most thru-axle frames and forks come with the proper thru-axle included. If you frame doesn't, try the "Robert Axle Project" (https://robertaxleproject.com/). If it exists, they have it.

There is like a 100% chance the frame includes the thru axle, and also https://robertaxleproject.com/produc...-x-1-0-thread/
No, you can't convert it to QR, nor would a sane person want to.

Thanks for the link. Crazy to think that what amounts to a bolt costs nearly $50. The wording "requires" led me to believe one isn't supplied with the frame. Maybe it is.

If you are buying the frame and fork directly from Lynskey, the axles and headset are included. If from a third party, should be easy to ask. Nice frame, I'd love to have one.
