WTB: 1" carbon fork
Hi folks, I need a fork!
I was able to find a Ti bike locally. No fork though, and takes a 1" steerer. I'm looking for steerers that have minimum lengths of
1) threaded : 200mm
2) threadless : 250mm
These are minimums, longer is ok. I can cut and thread as needed. TIA!

What brand are you looking for? You may be able to find Litespeed branded forks on E-Bay.

I found myself in a similar situation 2 years ago (picked up an older Ti frame, needed a 1" threadless fork) and I bought a Columbus Minimal. https://www.columbustubi.com/en/portfolio/minimal-en/ Works great, looks good, no complaints. The steerer length is listed at 300mm.

Origin8 has old school carbon fiber forks with metal steerer tubes. Not as light as all-carbon fiber, and probably not much lighter than an all-cromo steel fork/steerer. But my old early 1990s Trek 5900 OCLV has that style fork/steerer and it feels subjectively lighter and "better" than some steel forks I've ridden, by a small margin. Hard to say how much influence the entire carbon fiber frame has.

I have a couple of options, but I imagine shipping costs to Canada wouldn’t make it worth it. I can give details if wanted.

One more 1" threadless carbon fork with aluminum steerer tube. I bought one a couple of years ago. Works fine. Finding a 1" compression plug or star nut was quite difficult, though. The star nut I finally used was intended for a steel steerer tube (with a thinner wall) and required some work to make it fit.

I've looked for titanium forks from time to time and haven't found any that I liked that fit my budget.
My Litespeed ended up with a bonded aluminum fork which seems to match it reasonably well. I don't remember the brand, perhaps Schwinn. Since then I picked up a Litespeed CF fork, but haven't installed it.
Anyway, there are options beyond just Carbon Fiber.
