Help RockShox Quadra 10

I need a parts diagram for a Quadra 10 that shows the assembly order. It is off a 1994 Gary Fisher Hoo Koo E Too that I am bringing back to life.

Thanks. I have already been to that site and mine is totally different. It says RockShox Quadra 10 on it and I have seen pictures of others that look just like mine.

Dunno. The manual says it's for a 1994 Quadra 10. Maybe your fork isn't the same year as the bike.

Might not be but looking at the 1994 Gary Fisher sales brochure it shows the same shock and calls it Rock Shox Quadra 10. I am stumped.

Start looking at other manuals and videos and see if you can figure out which it is. Specs change from brochures, components get replaced or upgraded over decades.

I have that same fork from way back in the day. Rebuilt mine about ten or fifteen years ago with an aftermarket kit which swapped out a bunch of stuff. It’s possible something like that happened here.
If you’ve already opened it up, what does the compression bumper in the diagram look like?

Componets from inside tube. The cushion is 6" long and has some flex to it. No matter what order I install them there is still about an inch to inch and a half of play. Am I missing parts or just not seeing the right way to install?

That compression bumper/elastomer looks in pretty good shape compared to what mine looked like when I pulled them out. Both were noodly and compressed looking and one was crumbling apart.
Mine were also charcoal gray. The replacements were red and black. I kinda recall another rebuild kit that came with purple elastomers but am not 100% on it.
Without pulling my fork apart to compare, I really can’t say whether or not you’re missing parts. But I think it’s possible someone fiddled with that fork prior to you getting ahold of it.
Maybe someone screwed up something along the way?

Someone may have been in there i have no way of telling. The elastomer is a translucent purple. I can/t seem to find a parts list or diagram anywhere. Sram sent me a pdf that someone else posted here but they are not the same as my shock. Mine have a cap on each side with no adjustments at all and no hex heads on the side.

It sounds like you’re describing the Quadra 21r which was very close to the Quadra 10. I also have that fork. Came stock on my ‘96 Gary Fisher Hoo Koo e Koo. Might be needing to rebuild those soon. If I can still find replacement elastomers, that is.
Might be easier/better to try and find a marzocchi z1 on eBay or somewhere.

If you go to this link and scroll down to pages 14 and fifteen you will see the shock Gary Fisher calls a quarda 10. https://www.vintage-trek.com/Trek-Fi...1994fisher.pdf . I have found replacement elastomers at this link for the quarda 10 and they might have what you need. https://www.suspensionforkparts.net/...1994-1995.html . Thanks for taking the time to try to help me.

Oboy, thanks for the lead on those elastomers. I just might do that.
Sorry I wasn’t more helpful.
And, yeah, those look to be the same Quadra 10 forks I got. Mine came stock on an old trek singletrack.
I’m actually thinking about going with a rigid fork on there. Already have an appropriate replacement. If I can find the time to do that, I’ll try to figure out the insides/take a pic.

No problem. It’d be a shame to let that elastomer go to waste. It looks practically new. Hope the other one is in similar condition.
Do you know if they will fit the Quadra 21r? Because you can find frozen ones on eBay for cheap. Maybe get one and swap?
