The paintjobs on these were soooo nice -even with the dated 80s neon colors.

Tempting -VERY tempting- but not too psyched about the mish mash of Campy generations, and the price is a good $500 more than it is worth.

https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bi...101242398.html

62cm De Rosa vintage road bike with full Campagnolo group - $1300

I am selling my De Rosa road bike which is full Campy everything. Really beautiful bike and rides like a dream. If youre looking for a vintage steel bike, this is the top of the top for handmade frames.

Drivetrain is 9 speed with indexed downtube shifters(hard to come by). Campy cranks, headset, bottom bracket, wheels, seat post, etc...

It is in fantastic shape. The only thing(besides paint chips here and there) is two of the three top tube cable guides got kind of mangled(didnt affect the paint around it) so I put clamp-on Cinelli cable guides.

Seat tube is 62.5cm center to center and 63.5cm center to top
Top tube is 59cm

Thanks

This looks to be a well taken care of Serotta. The seller seems to be keeping their asking price a secret. It could be worth an inquiry though!

1995 Gary Fisher Tassajara in Steel Blue. https://www.bikepedia.com/QuickBike/...spx?item=32248

$450 MSRP. I'd compare it to a Trek 850 or a nicer Specialized Hardrock.

At $299 I think that it is priced a bit high, but I also believe it is the Tenax version of the SLT.

I believe this is a repro/replica. The original was a true banana seat. Used to have one as a kid. Did my newspaper route on it with the paper boy vest slung over the ape hangers. Those were the days.

Do you think it's really 19 inch? I would've guessed a little bigger. I'm 5'6", and I think 19 inch would be too small for me, but the seller says it fits him, at 5'8"...

Never trust the seller's description, grasshopper.

That does look like a 19 inch / 48cm frame, but doesn't look like it is set up for a 5'08" rider to my (admittedly inexpert) eyes.

Maybe contact the seller and ask for a picture with a tape measure on the seattube showing the measurements.

I expect that's one reason it has a clutch, so you can de-couple the flywheel when you need to stop.

Actually... I'm not sure the clutch is functional.
